Description

This beautiful villa with private pool and close to the beach (1. 8 km) is located in a quiet and friendly area, near the picturesque and historic village of Nerja.
The house

This spacious, detached villa "Casita Blanca" on the outskirts of Nerja, is located in the most sought after residential of Maro and is perfectly suited for (several) families with children or for (several) pairs. The property has South facing overlooking the sea and features a private pool, small garden, covered terrace and air conditioning.

The entrance of the villa leads to an open plan living room with fireplace, dining area and an open gallery. Of course WiFi, TV (Canal Digital, including British channels), DVD player and stereo are available. Adjacent to the dining area, a fully equipped and modern kitchen is located with silestone worktop and all necessary utensils and kitchen appliances. The kitchen has direct access to the terrace and pool.

The stairs in the dining area leads up to four double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a private bathroom and direct sea view. From the gallery on the upper floor, a door leads to a terrace with wonderful views over the Mediterranean Sea. The living room and two of the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning (hot and cold). All beds have a length of 2.00 m. A cot is available free of charge.

The terraces and pool area provide the necessary privacy and can be closed for infants. There are lounge chairs, a large table and grill. On the other side of the house, a small garden is located with some fruit trees. The largest part is planted with the beautifully blossoming "bougainvillea".

Casita Blanca"is located in a very quiet street with plenty of space to play. Maro is only a few-minute walk and offers several smaller supermarkets. The supermarkets in Nerja are recommended for larger purchases. These are easy to find and just a few minutes drive away.

Nerja

Nerja, the pearl of the Costa del Sol, is a white washed picturesque village situated where the Almijara mountains meet the Mediterranean sea. This part of the Costa del Sol and Costa Tropical has the best climate in Europa, especially during winter with 320 days of sunshine a year. This is confirmed by the fact that fruit like lemon, mango, avocado and cherimoya are grown only in this area in the whole of Europe. Nerja is a very cosy little Andalusian village with friendly local inhabitants living a very low pace life and Nerja can offer sun, beaches and culture.

The breathtaking vantage point, the "Balcón de Europa" and the typical Spanish, narrow shopping streets in the old town centre, make Nerja attractive and picturesque. Through his late development, there are virtually no high-rise buildings in the city, as is the case on the West coast of Malaga. Nerja is surrounded on one side by the agriculture and a mountainous landscape (direction Almuñécar) with fantastic views and secluded beaches located on the East side. The coast line is 16 km of which13 km are beaches!

What can you do in Nerja and this part of Andalusia?

The largest beach of Nerja is the "Playa Burriana" with its typical fishing boats, a beautiful beach promenade and many restaurants, where huge paellas are offered. At the weekly market, every Tuesday, bargain hunters can enjoy themselves and for the younger audience the "Plaza Tutti Frutti" is recommended with its numerous bars and nightclubs.

Nerja is famous for its huge stalactite caves, the "Cuevas de Nerja" in Maro. Our House is only a few metres away! The idyllic Moors village of Frigiliana, with its typical white-washed houses and steep, winding streets, is located behind Nerja. For hiking enthusiasts, this area offers numerous possibilities. The National Park "Los Alcantilados" is located directly behind "Casita Blanca". With its versatile nature and its wonderful views, it is perfect for hiking. Another highlight is the "Rio Chillar". There, you can walk upstream for several kilometers and marvel at the enchanting waterfalls. An experience for young and old! Please do not forget proper shoes!

Not too far from Maro away, there are wonderful and historical places, such as Málaga, Granada with its known Alhambra, Córdoba and its Mezquita, Ronda and Seville, worth a visit. Morocco also is easily reached by ferry!

For sports enthusiasts there is the possibility of horseback riding, mountain biking, Nordic walking, canoeing, tennis, fishing, etc... "Baviera Golf" golf course is located only about 10 minutes by car.

For the smaller guests there in Almuñécar and Vélez-Málaga leisure baths with huge long slides, that promise lots of fun.
