The apartment has full mechanical equipment with cooker, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.
Above is a patio under roof part and provided with furniture and an awning.
In 2012 made a lot of improvements on the apartment
- the kitchen was replaced with a new and modern kitchen in high gloss white and black.
- the wall between the v-room and balcony, with door and windows were removed and replaced with 3 sliding doors in blue
aluminum and glass. This meant that the fine views of the sea were strengthened and the v-room and balcony more
flexible can be used with loungers and table arrangements for several people.
In the autumn of 2016 renovated bathroom,
- a glass concrete wall now separates the shower from the sink.
- new bathroom furniture with new sink.
- new mirror cabinet.
In January 2017, a new washing machine was installed.
35 minutes by boat from Athens port of Piraeus is the island of Aegina, the island of the famous pistachio almonds.
We offer you to rent an apartment in our house located in the village Vrohia on Aegina's southwest coast.
The house is located 100 m from the sea in a hillside with olive trees and pistachio almond plantations with a magnificent view of the Saronic Gulf.
The house is a two storey winterized stone house with blue windows and doors.
The apartments are completely separate from each other and rented separately or together for larger parties.
Both apartments have air conditioning and water thermostatically controlled central heating.
The entire roof is a sun terrace that is accessed via a spiral staircase.
The terrace is available for both apartments.
The entire floor of the roof is tiled (since autumn 2003).
There is a large table with 12 chairs under a protective pergola and 4 sun beds, outside shower and a charcoal grill.
Our goal is that the apartments will maintain a very high standard in terms of both equipment and cleaning.
We want guests to be greeted by a fresh and tidy apartment with clean sheets & bathroom / kitchen towels on site upon arrival.
To ensure the cleanliness we have contracted with a local lady who makes the final cleaning of the apartment.
The cost for final cleaning included in the rental price.
Electricity and water
consumption of electricity depends largely on how much air conditioning is used.
Avg a summer week usually around 400 SEK (app 40 euro).
Reading of electricity meters inside the house is made by you on the day of arrival and day of departure and the information sent to me via email, SMS or telephone when you return home.
The price is 4 SEK (app 40 cent) per kwh, cost of water is included in the prize.
You who rents the apartment in the winter months and wish heating will be charged 400 SEK (40 euro) per week in oil cost.
Heating is ordered from us in Sweden.
Payment of electricity / oil,
electricity costs are charged in arrears when i get the reading from you on your return.
Any oil costs will also be charged in arrears after homecoming.
Bath, taverns, nightlife
From the house, it is 100 meters to the water with bathing from bridge, a tavern and bus stop.
To a lovely sandy beach is 300 meters and the same distance is a relatively well-stocked mini market and a bakery with fresh bread for breakfast.
Vrohia is a quiet "non-touristic" Greek village.
At 5-10 minutes walking distance are several authentic Greek tavernas offering food and drink for a very cheap price. If you want a little more street life take the bus or taxi about 4 km to Perdika, a fishing village with many taverns and a great view.
If you want a larger selection of cafes, restaurants, shopping and nightlife take the bus or taxi 3 km the other way to Aegina town.
For those who want to be more flexible on the island, we recommend car or moped.
These can be rented inside Aegina town across from where Flying Dolphins are adding.
at the back of the house we have a small beginning of a herb garden where you can pick up a pinch of rosemary or oregano to dinner.
An occasional lemon to drink for home consumption, you are also welcome to use. But please, do not pick the pure, all guests that comes after you also think it is nice if there is something to harvest. The trees on the front side is a large citrus, orange trees a smaller front porch and a mandarin tree at the wall on the left side (not lime).
There is also a pomegranate tree at the stairs to the roof terrace and a little farther back an olive tree.
During Easter 2010, we set up two terrace awnings, one on each floor.
On lower apartment there is also a wind shelter that can be pulled out.
During Easter 2011 we installed water treatment in both floors.
Beside the regular tap in the kitchen there is a small crane where you get purified water. This crane provides drinking water so now you will not have to lug home bottles from the store. The water from the common tap can be used for cooking, boil the potatoes. It is not polluted and dangerous to drink but does not taste as good.
In 2015, we have tried with free Wi-Fi successfully. There we continue.

When booking paid 104 Euro per week for booking and the balance 30 days before rented.
The booking fee is non-refundable if canceled.
If the cancellation is made later than 30 days before the rent currently charged half the rental amount excluding booking fee.
Sheets and towels
For 1-4 people
included in the price, per rental period, a set of sheets and a large towel per person and towels for the kitchen.
For person 5 and up
for each guest over 4 will be charged an additional charge for sheets and towels 10 Euro per person per rental period
(this is to cover laundry costs at the local laundromat).
Towels for the beach are not included.
Electricity and Water
The electricity consumed during rental time (about 42 Euro per week during normal summer consumption) is a surcharge.
The consumption depends largely on how much air conditioning is used.
The price is 4 per kwh (This also includes the cost of water consumption).
On arrival and departure, so read the electricity meter in the apartment by the tenant.
Readings reported to me (email, SMS, phone) the homecoming and will be charged for the tenant.
If reading fails, I will charge one of my prized electricity costs.
